Natalie Zimmer, LCMHC serves as the Clinical Director of First Responder Resilience Initiative (FRRI). A Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 12 years of experience, Natalie has worked across diverse mental health settings and specializes in trauma-informed care for first responders, frontline personnel, and their families. Her clinical approach integrates Polyvagal Theory, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help individuals build resilience and process the unique challenges of high-stress professions. Natalie is passionate about expanding access to specialized mental health services and strengthening the well-being of those who serve our communities.

Emilie Moreau, LCMHC is the Founder and Executive Director of First Responder Resilience Initiative (FRRI). A Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Certified First Responder Counselor, Emilie has worked in the mental health field since 2015 and specializes in trauma, attachment-based therapy, and relationship counseling. Inspired by both her professional experience and her personal connection to the first responder community, she founded FRRI to remove barriers to specialized mental health care. Emilie is passionate about building community partnerships, expanding access to services, and ensuring that first responders and their families never have to face life's challenges alone.

Their guidance, lived experience, and shared passion help ensure our mission remains grounded, ethical, and responsive to the needs of those we serve.

Emilie Moreau, LCMHC
Emilie is a LCMHC who operates a private practice dedicated to supporting first responders and their families. She has been in the mental health field for 11 years and in clinical practice for five years. She brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those who serve in public safety.

Micah Genzlinger
Micah currently serves as Chief of the Fairfax Fire Department and has been a member of the fire service since 1997. His decades of experience provide valuable leadership and insight into the realities of emergency response work.

Natalie Zimmer, LCMHC
Natalie is a LCMHCwith 12 years of experience in the mental health field, specializing in trauma informed care and utilizing EMDR therapy to facilitate trauma recovery. She is deepy committed to helping individuals heal, build resilience and foster post traumatic growth.

Jason Wetherby
Jason is a Lieutenant with the St. Albans Police Department and has served as a first responder for 25 years through both volunteer fire service and career law enforcement. He brings extensive frontline experience and a strong commitment to supporting the first responder community.

Cassie Westenfeld
Cassie is an Employee Benefits Consultant with 9 years of experience. Her background navigating healthcare barriers, combined with her family's connections to military and law enforcement services, drives her passion in supporting greater access to mental health services for first responders, military personnel, and their families.
